Amy Smart, an American actress and former model. The modeling career she began with was in Italy in Italy, where she was raised before being born in California. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film that she played her first part in, was her debut part. The struggle she had to get a part for Starship Troopers, a film which featured only minor characters, was extremely intense. It was difficult for her to transition to acting because actors were never considered skilled actors and typically were given small roles. Amy did her best to get noticed and was eventually offered larger parts beginning in The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. Amy then moved into leading parts in 2005's romantic comedy Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy was recognized after more than ten years of trying. There were several major films within the Crank trilogy opposite Jason Statham. And she was also a regular character on Shameless. Shameless series.
