StephanieStephanie Sigman is a Mexican-American actress. Her first role was in the 2011 Mexican crime-drama film Miss Bala. She also appeared in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). Sigman was a major character in Narcos (2015), S.W.A.T. (2017) and the second season of both series. Sigman was born to her Mexican mom and an American father, Lee Sigman, who is a New York Yankees scout. Sigman is an U.S. citizen through her father. [2][3][4] Her brother, the baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman, was formerly engaged to actress Barbara Mori Sigman began her career as a TV actress on Mexican TV before making her film debut in Rio de Oro. She played the lead role in Laura Guerrero (Miss Bala), a Mexican crime-drama. Six years ago, the Mexican entry in the category of Best Foreign Language Film was selected at the 84th Academy Awards. [7][8] But it didn't make it to the final shortlist. For her performance in the film, Sigman was nominated in the year 2011 for the Dublin Film Critics Circle Award.
